Technically Pilot Nights specifically exclude the reading of scripts (though occasionally something slips through in disguise). I believe this was specifically to encourage theatre work made in other ways, not least because Script exists for writers of scripts!

There is of course nothing to stop a parallel night with a similar motivation to be set up and run for the reading of scripts. It just need someone with vision, energy and commitment to get on with it. The mega day of it sounds like good fun. I’d try and come.
